About HDRA

The Heartland Drag Racers Association was formed March 1st 2009, when several racers gathered to discuss the ever increasing costs of local series racing, and the poor economy. After much discussion and brainstorming the HDRA was born, with one goal in sight. To bring forth a racing series for the first time racer or the weekend warrior, creating a competitive, fun, low cost alternative to other racing organizations. The HDRA is truely a racers organization, formed by racers with the racers in mind.
