General Rules
- Deep staging allowed at driver’s risk. Track officials will not wait for a racer to deep stage. If you are attempting to deep stage you must wait until your opponent is pre staged before deep staging.

-Please practice proper lane etiquette, Double bulbbing is not a rule, just is uncourteous.

- All classes may tow to the lanes.

- You must meet the safety requirements for the class, mile per hour and time your vehicle runs, per IHRA or NHRA specs Depending on track, no exceptions!

-Once rules are set they will not be changed unless a letter of revision is submited to the rules commitee, then it will be discussed what action to take.

-No Delay Boxes
-No Throttle Stops
-No Optical Eyes
-Door cars only
-No Motorcycles

Multiple Classes, and/or Series
No racer will be permited to run multiple classes within HDRA in the same day, However
Racers will be permited to participate multiple series/events in any single day at their own discression. Should a racer miss their round, racer will forfiet that round. During eliminations opponent will be given a bye run, and racer will be eliminated.
Racers will be permitted to run T&T passes up until first Qualifying round, after which no racer will be permitted to run their vehicle unless their class has been called to lanes.

Disqualification
Disqualification will be based on a first or worst situation. Rules on controversial situations will be final at the discretion of track and or tech official and Director of Events.

Lettering/Decals/Logos
All competitors racing in the HDRA series are required to display the HDRA series sticker on the windshield or rear window of each vehicle entered. Drivers must have their class designation and class number present on vehicle. Also, all competitors are required to display their respective class sponsors sticker on the visible location. Any other sticker placement is acceptable.

Rainout or Inclement Weather
In the event of a rain out, if qualifying is completed but no eliminations have been run, we will attempt to finish up at the next event. This will depend on how many rounds we are down to, and if we will be able to complete the entire event. Classes that chose to settle up and not complete the event at the next race will be compensated at our discretion. Points will only be awarded for rounds completed. There will be no refunds for any reason.


H.D.R.A. RULE CHANGE PROCEDURES 2009
OVER time it is expected that some of HDRA will have questions or concerns about official rules and regulations. We accept that there will be situations in which rules clarifications and/or changes are needed. It is important for to provide racers with a way to get a timely response on rules issues.

In some cases, there will be areas that a participant may feel are either (a) in error or (b) not in the best interest of the class as a whole. It is up to us to appreciate our racers and listen to their concerns, and consider them in a thoughtful manner.
We appreciate our racer's dedication, and their commitment to competing. We are providing this procedure to guarantee an actual response to any formal rules change suggestion. If you post your suggestion on the message boards, e-mail a rules committee member individually, or speak with someone over the phone, we cannot promise a response.

TO SUBMIT A RULES CHANGE PROPOSAL OR CLARIFICATION.
If you would like to submit a rules change or clarification for consideration, this is the ONLY way to initiate the process.

(FIRST) Write a detailed letter to HDRA explaining the specific changes you are suggesting .Refer to class, rule OR RULE'S. Detail the "wording" changes that you are proposing. In the second paragraph, please explain the "reasoning" behind the change, and detail how you believe it will affect the best interests of the class as a whole. Please include Your name, car number, and contact information including address, telephone, and e-mail.

SEND THIS E-MAIL TO HDRA, SUBJECT RULE . All E-mails will be sent to all HDRA rules committee members.

(SECOND) WITHIN 5 TO 7 DAY'S. follow up with any member of the rules committee to get the result of the rules change proposal for consideration to the committee.
